Snowboardcross, a discipline built on adrenaline

Lyse Lainé chose this discipline for the feeling it delivers from the start gate: "the adrenaline at the start that I found nowhere else," she says. Speed, physical commitment, race-reading and stress management combine within a few seconds of competition, which she considers snowboardcross's main appeal.

Chloé Trespeuch, a source of inspiration

Among the people who have shaped her career, Lyse Lainé cites snowboarder Chloé Trespeuch, who also comes from the Belleville club. "I've followed her since I was little," she explains, having been impressed by Trespeuch from the start. Training and competing alongside her remains, in her words, an experience she describes as "mad."

The World Junior Championships, a mental turning point

The World Junior Championships mark a key stage in her career. In the last race of the season, an unexpected podium finish came with a marked easing of mental tension. "That's when I realised I could let go of the stress," says Lyse Lainé. This milestone gave her the confidence to aim higher, with a clear goal: gain experience on the World Cup circuit and target podiums in the European Cup.
